When I was five, I was mesmerized by the vibrant colors and graceful movements of tropical fish. I dreamed of one day keeping discus and other majestic species, but as a kid with one small tank, I had to settle for guppies and tetras. Like many, I drifted away from fishkeeping before high school; but the dream never truly left.

Decades later, I rediscovered the hobby. This time, I dove in with the passion of someone who’d been waiting their whole life. From discus to corys, planted tanks to community aquariums, fishkeeping became not just a pastime but a way to recharge, create, and connect with nature.
